When Balanced Wellbeing Centre founders Carolyn and Marie first met they instantly connected in their passion for helping others to get their health and vitality back. Their expertise is in working with the health of both the body and the mind together as they believe this will ultimately bring the best results. It’s like providing a wilting plant with water, sun and soil so that it can grow to its full potential. For example, Marie helps you build a resilient mindset and Carolyn helps you have a thriving body.
It was from this connection that they were inspired to open Balanced Wellbeing Centre, which now has an amazing team of practitioners who treat the whole family including children, teens and couples. The modalities include Psychology, Naturopathy, Remedial Massage Therapy, and Kinesiology.
Carolyn and Marie in particular share a special interest in working with busy women who feel burnt out and exhausted due to the juggle of work and family. They help inspire vitality by focusing on changing belief patterns, optimising nutrition, and helping bring balance back into people’s lives. Like giving that wilting plant the right balance of full sun, nutrient rich soil, and good quality water.
A survey on stress and wellbeing (2015, Australian Psychological Society) showed that a major cause of stress is problems with maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The same survey showed that focusing on the positives, undertaking healthy activities, and seeking support are all important factors that help manage stress and, therefore, wellbeing. Key areas the girls address include mood problems, self-esteem concerns, chronic health issues, and lifestyle changes. By supporting the whole person, Carolyn and Marie’s clients gain health solutions that nourish their bodies and nurture their minds. They go from feeling rundown to revitalised.
